Our Elizabeth Intermodal Terminal handles the material handling and storage services, while our Glass House Road Rail Terminal is Western Pennsylvania’s newest rail to truck transfer and storage facility. Facilities & Material Handling Equipment:
- 23 acres asphalt paved outside storage
- 75,000 square feet inside storage
- Direct switch to Norfolk Southern rail line, car switching 5 times per week
- 1,900 feet of rail car siding with covered hopper car unloading pit (NS siding number R-24)
- 600 feet of dock wall
- Three river docks for simultaneous loading/unloading
- Dedicated switch boat with a full-time captain
- Two extra-large barge unloading excavators, 6-cy buckets, 300 tons per hour each
- 3 – 35 ton articulated, heavy haul dump trucks
- Wide variety of front-end loaders, forklifts, and material handlers
- Hooks, magnets, grapples, and spreader bars
- Two certified truck scales
- Year-round operation
